ABOUT OUR FAMILY
Michael Dellamonica founded Michael’s Martinis and Meatballs in 2011. His motto for his dream restaurant was eat, drink, and be social. Michael built his restaurant on his passion, and love for Staten Island. He wanted to bring amazing Italian food to Hylan Blvd. He was known for appearing almost every night to sign That’s Life by Frank Sinatra to the crowd at Michaels Martinis and Meatballs. We lost our beloved Michael in 2018. he is a loved son, father, brother, and uncle. He will always be in our hearts. His daughter Michelle has taken the reins of her fathers dream and will see it forward.
After Michael’s death, his grandson paid tribute to him by singing his signature song in HIS restaurant.

“This was the first time my husband and his friends had dinner at Michaels Martini and Meatballs and they loved the food. Each dish we tried was exceptionally delicious.
“I went with a group of friend for brunch about a month ago and they were really accommodating. They’d forgotten to take down their bottomless brunch menu online which is what we came there for so they apologized and offered it to us anyways. Delicious omelets(and other foods) and wide variety of yummy breakfast cocktails.
“I’ve gone for dinner, apps, drinks & especially dancing! It’s a great place to hang on a Friday night! Nice atmosphere, nice staff, good food. Always a great time at Michael’s Martinis and Meatballs!
“Excellent service and delicious food. Truly enjoyed the handcrafted martinis, especially appreciated the embellishments around the rim of the martini glass.
“Both my wife and I really enjoyed our dinners Saturday night. My wife tried the watermelon martini and she really liked it. We started with the spicy sweet and sour calamari. Plenty for an appetizer! For dinner my wife had the Shrimp Twist with Rissoto. Delicious, risotto cooked flawlessly and shrimp supper fresh with a great hint of lemon. I had the special with seared scallops and spaghetti with a light cream sauce. Man it was so damn good and A BIG portion. We ate outside which was nice and as said it can be a bit street noise but not harsh. Would add some ceiling fans. Next time we will sit inside, great atmosphere and great music going on. Guests really were grooving too! Both of us with a shared apoetizer, two drinks each and two dinners cost us $120 with tip.
“I cannot begin to express how much I enjoy this place. I drove past it many times and never went in. Finally my boyfriend and I decided to have dinner. What do you know, 3 hours later we walk out stuffed and having a great time.
It was so good I had my birthday dinner there with some friends and they all loved it. They all traveled from queens to try this place out and were very satisfied with everything, especially the service as she had us laughing the entire night!
“Our dinner at Michael’s Martinis and Meatballs was our first visit there and we were very pleasantly surprised. Our only mistake was that we chose to sit on the front half of the restaurant which overlooks Hylan Blvd and it was very noisy on a very rainy night. Also, the light in that room is very bright so the ambience is not as nice as it is on the inside portion of the restaurant. Now on to the good things. We tried the chicken Marsala meatballs. Three nice sized meatballs in a delicious Marsala sauce (no mushrooms for anyone who might not order this for that reason). Fried calamari was very good; not rubbery, not greasy. It came with tartar sauce & marinara sauce. Dinner was shrimp parmigiana & pasta with broccoli rabe & sausage. Shrimp parm was delicious. The sauce was really tasty with a hint of sweetness to it. My husband really enjoyed his dish as well saying how tasty the sausage were. We were all so full but we did leave room for sharing one dessert. It was a chocolate cake that was as light as air. Perfect way to end the evening. Overall a great dining experience.
